Welche Anhänge (attachments) werden abgewiesen und warum ? / Which attachments are being rejected and why?

    Aufgrund von Vorfällen an anderen Hochschulen, Verwaltungen, Unternehmen und entsprechend der IT-Standardisierungsrichtlinie des Landes Brandenburg vom 5.6.2019 ist das Versenden und Empfangen von Mails mit Office-Dokumenten, in welchen Makros enthalten sind, sowie alte Office-Dokumentformate ab dem 29.7.2020 nicht mehr möglich.
    Diese Dokumentenformate stellen einen primären Einfallsweg für Angriffe dar.

    Das betrifft den ein- und ausgehenden Verkehr mit externen Mailadressen und FHP-Mailadressen.


    Datein mit folgenden Datei-Endungen werden abgewiesen:
    .doc, .dot, .wbk, .docm, .dotm, .docb, .xls, .xlt, .xlm, .xla, .xlam, .xll, .xlw, .xlsb, .xlsm, .xltm, .xlsb, .ppt, .pot, .pps, .pptm, .potm, .ppam, .ppsm, .sldm


    Die neuen Office-Dokumentformate ohne Makros können auch weiterhin per Mail versendet werden:
    .docx, .dotx, .xlsx, .xltx, .pptx, .potx, .ppsx, .sldx


    Alternativ können Dokumente auch in das pdf-Format konvertiert werden u. dann per Mail versendet werden.

    In line with the IT Standardization Guidelines of the State of Brandenburg, dated June 5, 2019, emails that contain Office documents with macros or older Office document formats are disabled since July 29, 2020, due to incidents at other universities, administrations, and companies. These document formats are believed to be primary targets for attacks.

    This policy applies to incoming and outgoing emails sent to both external email addresses and FHP (Fachhochschule Potsdam) email addresses.

    We do not accept files with the following file extensions:
    .doc, .dot, .wbk, .docm, .dotm, .docb, .xls, .xlt, .xlm, .xla, .xlam, .xll, .xlw, .xlsb, .xlsm, .xltm, .xlsb, .ppt, .pot, .pps, .pptm, .potm, .ppam, .ppsm, .sldm.

    However, it is possible to send new office document formats without macros via email,
    such as .docx, .dotx, .xlsx, .xltx, .pptx, .potx, .ppsx, .sldx.

    Alternatively, documents can be converted to PDF format and then sent via email.
